ANCESTRAL ALLIANCE & ALIʻI LEGACY
MARAE O PUNI
(AU PUNI)
The ancestral connection between Pora Pora and Kauaʻi flows through Pele and her shark brothers, anchoring a sacred lineage that spans the Pacific. Our stewardship preserves the wahi kapu that whisper the stories of the aliʻi and the enduring spirit of the islands.
Preserving Sacred Landscapes
Focused on the Marae O Puni (Au Puni) our Kanaka Maoli-led efforts restore the wahi kapu. Through an ancestral alliance with the aliʻi of Bora Bora, we honori the deep pulse of connection between Pora Pora and Kauaʻi.
